Mark Warner was interviewed by Reuters, CNBC, the Financial Post and the Hill Times about Boeing’s petitions to the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission for the imposition of antidumping and countervailing duties on U.S. imports of 100- to 150-seat large civil aircraft (“LCAs”) from Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier. (December 19, 2016) The challenge of the support from the Caisse which manages funds mostly for public and parapublic pension and insurance plans will be of particular interest to Canadian trading partners as the Caisse insists that its investment in Bombardier Transportation was made independently of the Quebec Government and on purely commercial principles.
