Mark Warner was quoted in the Globe and Mail and CBC News about Canada’s Softwood Lumber Action Plan in response to the imposition of  U.S. countervailing duties on imported Canadian softwood lumber. (June 1 & 7, 2017) The Plan includes $605 million in loans & loan guarantees from Export Development Canada (EDC) and Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) for capital investments, expanding market opportunities & diversifying into new markets.
